Now...Regional weather discussion... Isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop through 7 pm over far southeastern Oklahoma. Strong gusty winds and locally heavy showers will be possible. Radar at 530 pm indicated isolated heavy thunderstorms... One east of durant and another over far southeastern parts of lake texoma. The storms were nearly stationary. Additional thunderstorm development will be possible through early evening in areas from around lake texoma northeastward toward coalgate and atoka... As an outflow boundary from earlier thunderstorms moves northwest across these areas. Moderately to strongly unstable conditions will exist through early evening... But winds at The surface and aloft will be light. These conditions will favor slow-moving thunderstorms which likely will form and then dissipate rapidly. Due to strong instability... The storms will be capable of producing heavy downpours and strong gusty winds before they collapse.
