Ahead of the system...Cold air will continue to pour south behind a strong cold front across southeast Oklahoma. At 5 am...Temperatures were at Or below freezing north and west of a vernon to duncan to shawnee line. Radar indicated a large area of moderate to heavy snow...Extending from parts of southwest Oklahoma into central and north central Oklahoma. Snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour will be possible through the early morning hours. Precipitation near the freezing line will likely fall in the form of sleet and freezing rain before changing to snow. Many roadways are becoming slick and hazardous this morning and travel conditions will continue to deteriorate
