The Big Weather Forecasters
These forecasts are among the most popular on the Internet. Unfortunately, they have to pay for themselves, so you might get popup ads. Here are their forecasts for Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County:
The National Weather Service
Most of us think of the National Weather Service as that tinny-sounding guy on weather radios that gives the current conditions, forecasts, and warnings. They provide the forecasts used on many weather sites, including this one. However, they have a rich collection of weather data and commentary that's worth checking into.
The Georgia College of Environmental and Agricultural Sciences
These are the same folks who bring you your county extension agent. They have a weather data site that offers up to date readings from around the state. There are also weather records, soil temperatures, and even peanut and cotton growing weather related statistics.
Kirk Melhuish - WSB Radio
Kirk tends to get the weather right in his radio weather forecasts. Many of his radio listeners may not know that he publishes a detailed weather commentary, covering weather events and long range predictions on the WSB Radio website. If you haven't looked at it, it's worth reading.
Other Georgia Weather Sites
Shane Adams has created an interesting weather site showing conditions in Tallulah Falls. It's complete with webcams, and a listing of severe weather events in the area.
