CENTRAL...AND SOUTHWEST MONTANA BY FRIDAY. ADDITIONALLY...
OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN ABOVE FREEZING AT MOST
ELEVATIONS. WITH INCREASED SNOW MELT AND RUNOFF CONTINUING
THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...MINOR FLOODING WILL LIKELY OCCUR ON
SMALL STREAMS AND RIVERS BY SATURDAY.

THE FLOODING POTENTIAL WILL BE HIGHEST FOR LOCATIONS NEAR SMALL
STREAMS AND RIVERS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
BEAVERHEAD...MADISON...GALLATIN...GLACIER...CASCADE...
JUDITH BASIN...JEFFERSON...AND FERGUS.

FOR THOSE LOCATIONS ALONG MAJOR RIVERS...SUCH AS THE
MADISON...BEAVERHEAD...JEFFERSON...AND MISSOURI RIVERS...RIVER
LEVELS WILL BEGIN TO RISE OVER THE WEEKEND...BUT AT THIS TIME NO
FLOODING IS EXPECTED THROUGH SATURDAY.

PEOPLE ALONG AREA STREAMS AND RIVERS SHOULD REMAIN AWARE OF THE
POTENTIAL FOR RISING WATER BY FRIDAY. ANYONE LIVING NEAR SMALL
STREAMS THAT HAVE A HISTORY OF MINOR FLOODING FROM SPRING SNOW
MELT SHOULD TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT HOMES...
OUTBUILDINGS...EQUIPMENT...OR LIVESTOCK THAT MAY BE IN LOW LYING
AREAS.
